In his speech for his father’s 60th birthday, Christian reveals a family secret. He relentlessly describes how the head of the family regularly raped two of his four children. Christian’s twin sister killed herself because of the abuse.
In order to end the collective silence, denial, ignoring, turning back the blame, a lot has to happen. Finally, the abuser is forced to admit his guilt in destroying the family and his crimes.
